Congratulations to Olivia Boumelhem, College Dux, with an ATAR of 99.45, and Julian Vargas and Jack Gontarczyk, Proxime Accessit, with ATARs of 99.3 and 99.2.
Special recognition to the 10 All-Rounders, achieving Band 6 in all their courses: Olivia Boumelhem, Errin Conlin, Jack Gontarczyk, Kshitj Karki, Logan Penfold, Elias Semaan, Luka Susnjara, Vinet Narayun Tirumala Kanduri, Josephine Tleyji and Julian Vargas.
Also to the 7 Top State Placements: Jonathan Soares Caplice 1st Place (Advanced Mathematics), Oliver Ceely 4th Place (Entertainment Industry Examination), Suzanne Grzys 5th Place (Polish Continuers), Jason Herbas 4th Place (Advanced Mathematics), Kristijan Magdic 12th Place (Advanced Mathematics), Harrison Mayhew 6th Place (Construction Examination), Jane Whelan 5th Place (Mathematics Standard 2).
And the 193 Distinguished Achievers who earned 393 Band 6 results across a range of subjects.

Congratulations to Jed McDonald-Singh, Dux of the College for 2023 with an ATAR of 99.7 and James Magee and Samar Riar, Proxime Accessit, with ATAR’s 98.55 and 98.25 respectively.
Congratulations to our three All-Rounders receiving Band 6 in all courses: James Magee, Jed McDonald-Singh and Lara Orshansky; our three Top Placements in State: Andreas Juarez-Mendoza (Entertainment), Adam Tomka Year 11 (Hungarian) and Jed McDonald-Singh (Studies of Religion 1 Unit); and the 117 Distinguished Achievers receiving 220 Band 6’s.

The College is very proud of the Class of 2022 with results across the board equal best since 2002. I would like to congratulate all students of the Class of 2022 for their collective efforts to achieve these results. The College has had the largest number of All-Rounders (7), Top Placements in State (6) and Distinguished Achievers (126) since records have been kept in 2002. Congratulations also to Liam Milton-White, Dux of the College for 2022 with an ATAR of 99.8 and Zachary Semaganda and Hannah Cook, Proxime Accessit, with ATAR’s 99.7 and 99.6 respectively.

With their feet on the ground, aiming for the stars, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø HSC students have once again achieved excellent all-round results. As a school community, we are extremely proud of each student’s achievements, and proud that they now go on to new pastures as the sought after ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Graduate. They leave us with the strong foundation of being a good citizen and using their gifts and talents for the betterment of the world.
Congratulations to Noah Hoyle who is the top achieving student in 2021 with an ATAR of 98.6, Alex Nielsen who was second with an ATAR of 98.35, and James Nati who was third with an ATAR of 98.25. Overall, there were 15 students with an ATAR above 95, and 51 with an ATAR above 90. In addition, the College had four students on the All Rounder List for achieving Band 6 in all their subjects: Marco Fogolin, Noah Hoyle, Olivia Humm and James Nati. Furthermore, 118 students were listed on the Distinguished Achievers list for attaining a Band 6 in at least one subject. In 2021, 45% of all HSC results were in the top 2 Bands (either Band 5 or Band 6), a testament to their hard work. Well over 2/3 of our students received early offers from various universities with many students receiving many offers from multiple universities.
ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is delighted and congratulates the Class of 2021 on their attainment of the qualities of an ‘ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Graduate’ grounded: aiming for the stars, good people ready for the challenges in life. The results, of the graduating Class of 2021, demonstrate a breadth and depth of talent, with outstanding results in courses such as Business Studies, Chemistry, CAFS, English Studies, English Standard, Legal Studies, Mathematics Standard 1, Mathematics Standard 2, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 2, Modern History, Society and Culture, Studies of Religion 2, VET Construction, VET Primary Industries and VET Retail.
The College congratulates Hannah Cook, a Year 11 student who received a 1st in State in Studies of Religion (2 Unit) In addition, Edirimuni Amarasekara and Liam Milton-White, also both Year 11 students who received a State placing in Advanced Mathematics (2 Unit). All three students participated in the College accelerated program.
The College is also very proud and congratulates the following prestigious nominations across the Creative Arts and Applied Technology courses. Due to the pandemic, NESA restricted the number of students that could be identified as outstanding in their fields. There were 2 OnSTAGE nominations for Drama – Charles Horner and Corey Evans. One student, Rachel Western, was nominated for CallBack for her Major Study Performance in Dance. Liam Maher and Elia Chaiban were nominated for ENCORE for their overall performance/composition in Music. Four students were nominated for inclusion in InTech for their Timber and/or Graphics Major Works. Gustavo Montenegro (D&T), Natarsha Stornelli (D&T, Jayden Moujalli (Ind Tech Graphics) and James Urquhart (Ind Tech Timber).

Well known for its all-round excellence, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø once again excels academically, achieving excellent results in the 2020 HSC.
At the start of 2020, Br Steve asked all ºÚÁÏÉçÇø students and staff to 'Act Justly' to dream big, to set goals, and work hard to achieve their personal best. If ever there was a year to demonstrate resilience in the face of adversity, 2020 was the year. This cohort has demonstrated true GRIT – having courage and resolve, and a strength of character, and persistence for challenges, and what a year of challenges this cohort has faced.
The success of the 2020 cohort can be attributed to a personal story of commitment and dedication from each and every student at the College. As a school community, we are extremely proud of each student’s achievement.
The ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Graduate is a well rounded, resilient, grounded person who excels across multiple domains and subjects at the College, and we are proud of our results and our reputation.
Edward Joseph will be awarded College Dux for achieving the highest ATAR score for ºÚÁÏÉçÇø of 99.55. Our high ATAR achievers also include: Holly McDonell – 99.0, Adam McGill – 98.80, Joshua Ramos - 98.65, Olivia Pratt - 98.25, Broden Suffern – 98.1 and Tiarne Tighe - 98.1. They along with 44 other students will be awarded High Achievers at a ceremony at the College in February 2021.
Five ºÚÁÏÉçÇø students received ‘All-Rounder Awards’ in the 2020 HSC receiving a Band 6 in all subjects: Nathaniel Deitch, Edward Joseph, Olivia Pratt, Joshua Ramos and Tiarne Tighe; 54% of all grades were Band 5 or 6 compared with the State rate of 40%; and the number of students achieving Band 1 or 2 was only 2.9% compared to the State rate of 10.9%; 80% (40 out of the 50 courses offered) had means above the State average.
Congratulations to Grant Brennan who received a 5th in the State for Entertainment Industry VET Course - a tremendous achievement.
Our Extension and Accelerated courses also allow our students to achieve excellent marks. The 2020 HSC cohort had 23 students sit Mathematics Advanced and Extension 1 courses early, before the rest of the cohort, and of that nine students received E4 equivalent Band 6, fourteen E3 which is equivalent to a Band 5. All our extension students received Band 5 or 6. Our Studies of Religion 2 unit Accelerated course had 14 students sit this exam ahead of their cohort and achieve two Band 6s and twelve Band 5 results.
Two-thirds of the Class of 2020 also received early entry offers to university, which often translates to students feeling a sense of security and therefore taking their foot off the accelerator as they have secured a future placement, however, this cohort has continued to persist and showed true GRIT.
In addition, our practical and major works subjects and have also been acknowledged through a large number of nominations. Special mention to our VET Teachers who continually maintain a strong academic record, offering the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Graduate the opportunity to excel across multiple arenas, allowing them the opportunity to complete their HSC certificate and a dual accreditation in their courses.
The College had three Onstage nominations for Drama – Chris Cignarella, Juliette Piali and Tanner Woodhead. One nomination for Callback – Patrick Dixon for his core or major study performances in Dance.
In Music, James Royle and Elliott Carter received nominations for ENCORE for their overall performance/composition.
The following Industrial Technology students have been nominated for possible inclusion in InTech. InTech is an exhibition of outstanding Major Projects from HSC Industrial Technology students – John Harvey, Jamie Luck, Troyce Quimpo and Charlie Zeaiter.
ºÚÁÏÉçÇø provides students with a breadth of opportunities to demonstrate their abilities, both academically, as well as in terms of external achievement and service, making them a highly sort after graduate.

Lachlan Elliott will be awarded College Dux for achieving the highest ATAR score for ºÚÁÏÉçÇø of 99.80, and 45 other students will be awarded High Achievers at a ceremony at the College in February 2020.
Six ºÚÁÏÉçÇø students received ‘All-Rounder Awards’ in the 2019 HSC receiving a Band 6 in all subjects: Lachlan Elliott, William Eisenhuth, Rory Goggins, Christian Habkouk, James Woolnough and Izabella Zeaiter; 48% of all grades were Band 5 or 6 compared with the State rate of 40%; and the number of students achieving Band 1 or 2 was only 2.50% compared to the State rate of 10.3%; 82% (42 out of the 51 courses offered) had means above the State average.
Congratulations to Lucy Atkins who received a 1st in VET Entertainment; Gemma Williams who placed 8th in VET Hospitality; and William Eisenhuth who placed 14th in Mathematics Standard 2, these are tremendous achievements.
The College had ten Onstage nominations for Drama. Two of these were group performances titled Normville by Joseph De Pasquale, Cameron Driscoll and Samuel Hatton, and Welcome to Bowlio by Caitlyn Dunk, Isabella Graiche, Rose Leavey, Harrison Ross and Abraham Van Niekerk. In addition, Samuel Hatton also received an individual nomination for his piece titled Hate, and Daniel Reeve for his piece Jasper Jones.
Four students were nominated for Callback for their core or major study performances in Dance – Ella Whelan for her Core Performance and Amy Holswich, Halle McEwan and Sara Bonaccorso for their Major Study Performances.
In Music, Christopher Watters received a nomination for ENCORE for his overall performance/composition.
The following Design and Technology students, Samuel Bridgen, Riccardo de Nicola, Sophie Elliott, Jonathan Saab and Oliver Scholey, who have been nominated for possible inclusion in Shape 2019, the annual exhibition of a selection of exemplary Major Projects developed by HSC Design and Technology, Industrial Technology and Textiles and Design students.
Sophie Lovell achieved first place in NSW for her Extension History paper in the History Teachers’ Association of NSW Awards, Generation to Generation category.
Lastly, our 2019 cohort received 220 offers to University. ºÚÁÏÉçÇø provides students with a breadth of opportunities to demonstrate their abilities, both academically, as well as in terms of external achievement and service, making them a highly sort after graduate.
