The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the areas of:
• Teaching Mathematics across stages 4 – 6 (advanced and/or extension exp. is desirable);
• Planning and implementing effective Maths lessons and teaching and learning strategies;
• Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students;
• Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning;
• Developing teaching programs across all stages is preferred however not essential;
• Ability to implement new syllabi;
• Managing student behaviour;
• A thorough knowledge of current pedagogy.
